of Piskel below.
We provide applications for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

About the offline applications
Piskel is built primarily as a browser-based editor. Supporting and maintaining desktop applications is very resource-intensive, and we only do best-effort releases — when we have time, with very limited QA and testing.
We have no ETA for new offline releases, and we strongly recommend using the online web-based version if you want the latest fixes and features.
The offline applications are based on the Piskel editor, with a few differences worth highlighting:

- Very limited testing and quality assurance
- Performance might be better with the online version
- No access to the latest fixes and features if your version is too old
